![]() ![]() The game would definitely be nice to have but considering their resources are limited I'm fine with the decision ![]() ![]() For example, instead of focusing on Quidditch NPC AI they could improve the NPC AI in combat.Īlso, if they decided to make Quidditch into some type of multiplayer DLC that would require significant balancing and changing of the rules since as many people have already pointed out, the game is unbalanced. This would take up a lot of development resources for something that isn't necessary. If they want the player to have fun that means you can really only be the seeker so the games would either need to have AI or be scripted. In an actual game the game wouldn't be fair at all since the points awarded for catching the Snitch are too high.Īlso from a development perspective having Quidditch as a singleplayer game would mean that they would have to come up with NPC AI specifically for Quidditch. The seeker and snitch are broken so that most games rely on Harry's performance. The rules and format of the game were specifically written in a way for Harry to be a hero and for his role to be the most important. I completely understand the decision to not include Quidditch, from a gameplay/development perspective it makes a lot of sense because Quidditch was never meant to be a balanced game. ![]()
